    On this page you will find answers to some of the most asked question that we receive about: our football API, live score API, subscriptions, payments, trial, and using the Live Score API website in general.

The acronym API stands for “Application Programming Interface.” API is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications. Basically, an API specifies how software components should interact.

You can start your free 14 days trial or you can sign up for any of our prepaid plans. All the plans can be found on our pricing page

The times of the fixtures, live scores and history data are in UTC you can use any standard library to convert it to CET or any other timezone of your choice

The live matches endpoints provide data only for matches that are being played or have ended but started no longer than 3 hours ago. After this period they can be found in our history data set. Also if you are using any kind of filtering per country or competition and there are no matches currently being played in these competitions your response will be empty.

As you might have seen from our football api pricing page every package has its own daily request limit. So what is an request? A requests is every call that you make to our servers. We count your requests reaching to our servers. It does not matter if the request results in an error or the data is the same as the one returned to your previous requests. Every time you hit one of our servers with an HTTP(s) request we count it towards your daily quota.

Subscriptions and Payments

You can upgrade your account by selecting a subscription plan from pricing page.

We are using Stripe as a payment processor and they offer a wide variety of global as well as local payment options. In case there is no viable solution for you, do not hesitate to contact us..

Yes, you can email us at support@livescore-api.com, and after understanding your requirements we can create a custom plan for you.

You can cancel your subscription from your profile. Please note that cancellation of the subscription results in immediate termination of your data access and there are no refunds.

Using the website

You can register your free account on our sign up page. By filling in only your email and password you can create your registration. Once you have done this you will receive a verification email that you need to click. If this link does not work or is inaccessible you can use the resend verification link functionality on our website, in order to access our football API

You do need an API key and secret to access our football API data. You will get a pair when you register and you can create a new paid from your profile

Free 14 day Trial

The trial period lasts 14 days from the day you start it. This might not be the day you registered. For example, you can register and look at our documentation for two months and then decide to start your trial by using one of "Start my trial" buttons. After your trial period ends, you can continue using our Live Score API by choosing one of our paid plans. If you think you need a special offer, do not hesitate to contact us.

You can activate your trial from your profile page. There is a button that you need to press and you can start your free trial.

A free trial is granted only once per account. In some cases, the trial period may be extended based on the decision of the Live Score API team. One such scenario is if you follow us on one of our social media channels and communicate this action to us. These are LinkedIn and YouTube
