The acronym API stands for “Application Programming Interface.” API is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications. Basically, an API specifies how software components should interact.

You can start your free 14 days trial or you can sign up for our standard or advanced plan. All the plans can be found on our pricing page

Our data is available in the following formats: XML and JSON. To find out more about our football data formats please visit our live-score api data formats refernce page

The times of the fixtures, live scores and history data are in UTC you can use any standard library to convert it to CET.

Live-score endpoints provide data only for matches that are being played or have ended but started no longer than 3 hours ago. After this period they can be found in our history data set. Also if you are using any kind of filtering per country or competition and there are no matches currently being played in these competitions your response will be empty.

As you might have seen from our football api pricing page every package has its own hourly request limit. So what is an request? A requests is every call that you make to our servers. We count your scripts reaching to our servers. It does not matter if the request results in an error or the data is is the same as the previous requests. Every time you hit one of our servers with an HTTP request we count it towards your hourly quota.

Subscriptions and Payments

You have two options to upgrade your account either by selecting a subscription plan from pricing page or by selecting a plan from your profile page You need to be logged in to see this page.

For the moment you can only use PayPal to pay for your subscription. We are working on adding more payment options. In case PayPal is not a viable solution for you, do not hesitate to contact us..

Yes, you can email us at support@livescore-api.com, and after understanding your requirements we can create a custom plan for you.

You can unsubscribe/cancel your subscription only from your PayPal account. We do not have any control over the cancellation process.

Using the website

You can register your free account on our sign up page. By filling in only your email and password you can create your registration. Once you have done this you will receive a verification email that you need to click. If this link does not work or is inaccessible you can use the resend verification link functionality on our website, in order to access the live-score api.

Yes! You do need an api key and secret to access our football API data. To do this you have to go through the following 3 steps:

  1. 1. Login into your account from the header or our login page
  2. 2. At your profile page, scroll down to the Your API access credentials section.
  3. 3. Click the "Create" button at API Key and Secret. After pressing it, your personal API Key and Secret will be automatically generated.

Free 14 day Trial

The trial period lasts 14 days from the day you start it. This might not be the day you registered. For example, you can register and look at our documentation for two months and then decide to start your trial by using one of "Start my trial" buttons. This is, after that you can continue using our Live-score API by choosing one of our paid plans. If you think you need a special offer, do not hesitate to contact us.

You can activate your trial from your profile page. There is a button that you need to press and you can start your free trial.

A free trial will only be granted only once per account. In rare cases after dicussions with you, we might restart your trial or extend it.
